Geoff Boyd

Geoff Boyd is Director of Bar and Concept Development at JOEY Restaurant Group. Boyd joined the company in 1998 and is responsible for helming the company's wine and cocktail program. Under Boyd's guidance, the JOEY lounge and bar program has become a significant driver in the company's overall growth and is an integral part of JOEY Restaurant Group's development into a leader in casual fine dining. As a qualified sommelier, Boyd believes his most significant contribution at JOEY Restaurants has been creating an atmosphere in which wine exploration is encouraged and celebrated, but without all the pretension and snobbery that often accompanies wine. Boyd believes that developing an appreciation for wine happens best in a relaxed atmosphere that is all about fun and exploration. Geoff Boyd is always working to deepen his own wine knowledge and experience, and actively pursues the latest in cocktail culture through travel experiences. Boyd regularly visits London and New York City to bring inspiration back to the lounge at JOEY Restaurants.
